Welcome to Trundlebed Tales!

I'm Sarah S. Uthoff, my passion is reaching and
sharing the information that I find with others.
My main focus is pioneer and famous author
Laura Ingalls Wilder, but I'm also involved in
one-room schools and historic foodways and
other areas of historical research.
Click on the links on above to navigate the site.

  • If you are interested in booking a speaker and hearing about my research first hand, please click on Programs in the list on the left to find descriptions of the programs available. You'll also find a link to my program brochure as a PDF on that page. You may want to check out Funding Programs and Program Additions for more information.
  • Want to know about my background? Click on About Us for more information about me, Press About Sarah to find things about me in online articles and websites, and Sarah is Published to find a partial list of what I've published.
  • Want to know where I'm speaking next? Click on Speaking Schedule.
  • If you want to know more about Laura Ingalls Wilder and her daughter Rose Wilder Lane, click on Research Aids for my pathfinders about Laura. If you would like to read some of Rose's actual articles first hand, click on Rose Articles. Also, check out Seeking Laura Letters and most weeks Photo of the Fortnight. Photo of the Fortnight will be a photo page, so it may take a littlewhile to load. A new photo should appear every two weeks.
  • My other major areas of interest are One-Room Schools and Historic Foodways. Click on these for a summary of what I'm up to.
  • The most recent addition to my research projects is furniture made out of packing crates, click on Packing Crate Furniture for more information.
  • Check out the latest news at Sarah's Notebook, here http://trundlebedtales.com/WordPress/
Check back to Sarah's Notebook for new information at least once a week.
