Funding Programs
Price depends on exactly where you want me to go and what you want me to do. Please contact me so we can discuss the details. As a member of the Humanities Iowa Speakers Bureau, I am pre-approved for their community group grants. If your group’s event is approved, you pay $50 and Humanities Iowa will cover most other expenses. (Extra costs might apply for mileage over 385 miles round trip, when an overnight stay is necessary, and for supplies if you choose to add an optional craft.) Also, they usually don't approve schools unless an effort is made to include the community at large. Include your plan for including the community in your application. For more information check
